Well folks, It's been a long and bumpy road but the CD has finally arrived and the end result has surpassed our expectations. While I and other Turf artists are not in the habit of patting ourselves on the back, it should be stated that we all did a pretty d**n good job!
congrats!

Got them yesterday. So far so good. I really like the cover art. Still listening to the tracks though. My only regret is not having my name put in the sleeve, which was completely my fault. So after "Everything:" in the song credits. mark out Zan with a pen and put "Graham Bonnington"

I just received this cd from my friend in Rock Island, and I'm very impressed. Excellent talent all around, nice concise layout, and cool artwork to boot.
This kinda reminds me of 'phunkungfusion' from ninja a few years ago (only better). Great work!

"Quetzal" was his first alias release. If you are interested in that material you should peep "Where Eternities Meet" on Diskatopia records. (diskatopia.com). His new material is on the "Quetzatl" tip...that has been recently featured on the Radical Turf comp: "Tales from the Oxygen Den" as well as several independent releases available at www.quetzatl.com

I think I need to mention that "ill style" is a great track.
Love that sing-songy background under the beats, and the delayed plucked synth is perfect. Very clean, and very moody.

Do you have any gigs in town?

Hope to see you there! -Jeff Jeff - I don't know if you remember me or not... my name is Rob, and I'm a friend of Al Collins, we were in Uphold together (I am the guitarist). In any case, he hooked me up with your CD... I would definitely like to come out and see your set in November. Also, are you planning on playing anywhere up toward Rockford in the near future? Rob

Rob, I remember you vaguely...probably remember you by face most of all....I certainly know Al. Thats cool he let you hear our CD. I pass through Rockford once in a while...is there any place there to play? Also, were you the one Al was telling me makes electronic/ambient music? -Jeff

I pass through Rockford once in a while...is there any place there to play? -Jeff You know, after moving to Rockford, I discovered that the Quad Cities had a LOT more to offer in the vein of culture and things to do - it's pretty sad... I believe there are some places around, but many of them are the dance club-style stuff. I would expect that Dekalb would have much more because of the school - someone posted something on this board about shows in Dekalb... in any case, I'd drive there in a second to go see a show! I think I'll ask Al and see if he is available to go to that show on the 4th - the Brew & View like to do shows & stuff on Thursdays, don't they?
